Experience and research focus

Scott McLeod is an operator, founder and angel investor who leads PXS Research. He is Chief Brand Officer at Ashley Digital and a co-founder of Resident, where he built and led digital functions spanning marketing, data, technology and product. His career combines more than two decades of operating experience with hands-on support for early-stage founders.

At Resident, Scott helped build the business from its early direct-to-consumer growth through its acquisition by Ashley in 2024. His responsibilities expanded from marketing and e-commerce into Chief of Staff work across digital product, creative services, partnerships, innovation and acquisition support. At Ashley Digital, he now leads brand and creative functions across the Ashley family of brands.

His earlier work includes growth marketing for new products at Meta, including Workplace; founder-led growth consulting; data strategy at Nacci; innovation work for Toyota; and product design and growth roles at Neo Innovation. Those experiences inform how he evaluates customer adoption, operating constraints, data quality, distribution and the economics of scaling a business.

PXS Research connects that operating perspective with diligence on private companies, funds and public-market exposure across Physical AI, Healthspan Infrastructure, Digital Trust and Digital Sovereignty. Scott directs the research agenda and approves the research published by PXS Research.
