ARK Autonomous Technology & Robotics ETF (ARKQ) is ARK Invest's actively managed vehicle for autonomous technology, robotics, and the physical systems that move and build in the real world. Issued by ARK Investment Management LLC (the firm Cathie Wood founded) through the ARK ETF Trust, ARKQ has no benchmark and instead concentrates in companies ARK believes are enabling autonomous mobility, energy storage, robotics, 3D printing, and space exploration. That active mandate makes it a direct public-fund lens onto the Physical AI universe's autonomy and robotics layers, distinct from a passive sector index. In the PXS map, ARKQ's issuer holdings file overlaps mapped Physical AI companies — the robotics, sensing, and autonomy names already tracked in the research registry. As with every fund page, coverage is limited to direct, issuer-reported positions in already-mapped companies, not the complete portfolio, and this is a research map rather than a recommendation. Companies outside the registry are omitted regardless of weight, and layer classification comes from each company's own record. ARKQ is most useful as a signal of where a curated active robotics portfolio intersects the machine's existing Physical AI research — showing which mapped autonomy names a thesis-driven manager chooses to overweight. Because the fund is actively managed with no benchmark, its mapped overlap reflects ARK's current autonomous-technology convictions rather than a fixed index allocation, and should be read as a point-in-time snapshot of those bets.
