Tactile-sensing stack for humanoid hands: neuromorphic touch chips, fingertip and manipulator sensor arrays, tactile simulation and data collection.
Tashan Technology (Beijing, founded 2017) builds the tactile-sensing layer for embodied AI: a digital-analog hybrid 'AI tactile' chip on a spiking-neural-network architecture for low-latency, low-power edge processing of multi-dimensional touch signals; TS-F fingertip and TS-E manipulator sensor arrays combining proximity, 3D force (0.01 N resolution), temperature-difference and texture sensing; the TS-V visual-tactile fusion training platform and TS-VT data-collection version; a tactile simulation system open-sourced on MuJoCo and integrated as NVIDIA Isaac Sim's first tactile simulation partner; and data-collection sites in Beijing Shijingshan and Hubei Qianjiang. The same sensor stack also sells into automotive electronics, home appliances and consumer electronics (36Kr and Gasgoo, 2026-07-10/13).

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Tashan owns the whole tactile stack - its own neuromorphic sensing chip, sensor arrays, tactile algorithm models and simulation/data tooling - making it the default tactile-sensor supplier to Chinese dexterous-hand and humanoid makers.
Position in the stack: Sits between sensing materials and robot OEMs: it supplies chips plus sensor arrays plus tactile models that dexterous-hand makers embed, and is the reference tactile plugin for NVIDIA Isaac Sim. Data-collection factories in Beijing and Qianjiang add proprietary tactile training data, which is what turns a component supplier into infrastructure.
