AgiBot
Integrator / OEM · CN
Shanghai humanoid OEM building Yuanzheng full-size and Lingxi developer humanoids plus its own actuators, hands and embodied-AI models.
AgiBot (智元机器人, Zhiyuan Robotics) designs and builds general-purpose humanoid robots and the embodied-AI stack around them. Its Yuanzheng (远征) line covers full-size bipedal humanoids for industrial and service work — A1 unveiled in August 2023, followed by A2, A2-W and A2-Max — while the Lingxi (灵犀) X1/X2 line targets developers and volume deployment, with the X1 released as open source. The company also ships its own components and models: PowerFlow joint motors, the SkillHand end-effector, the EI-Brain framework and the WorkGPT task model. Robots are sold into manufacturing, logistics and service settings, backed by a Shanghai supply chain and investors including HongShan, Hillhouse Investment and BYD.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Full-stack vertical integration — in-house joint motors, hands, models and a Shanghai component ecosystem — lets AgiBot ship humanoids at volumes and price points that assemblers of bought-in parts cannot match.
Position in the stack: Humanoid OEM at the top of the physical-AI stack: it buys actuation, sensing and compute from suppliers and sells finished embodied systems to industrial and service operators, capturing the integration margin and the deployment data loop.
