RightHand Robotics
Integrator / OEM
RightPick robotic piece-picking system: ML-driven picking across millions of SKUs for e-commerce, pharmacy and grocery fulfilment.
RightHand Robotics sells the RightPick system: an industrial robotic piece-picking cell — proprietary gripper, 3D vision and machine-learning models — that picks individual items out of totes and places them into orders. The company claims model-free picking across millions of SKUs, cycle times as fast as three seconds, 24/7 autonomous operation, and more than a petabyte of operational picking data behind the models, plus RightPick Fleet Management for remote monitoring and exception handling and RightCare support. RightPick sells into e-commerce, pharmaceutical, apparel, health and beauty, and grocery fulfilment, and integrates with AutoStore cubes, AS/RS, auto baggers, AMRs and sorter induction lines; integrators such as Element Logic deploy it. Named customers include Swedish pharmacy retailers Apotea and apo.com Group.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
The pick itself: a proprietary gripper plus model-free picking models trained on over a petabyte of real SKU data, already qualified inside AutoStore and AS/RS lines — the hard-to-copy step between a storage cube and a shipped order.
Position in the stack: Autonomy / deployment layer (L10) in warehouse fulfilment. RightHand sells a cell that slots into someone else's material-handling line, so its leverage comes from being the qualified picking station inside AutoStore and AS/RS deployments rather than owning the warehouse. Hard to copy because picking accuracy is a data problem: years of real SKU attempts, gripper design and integration work compound, and integrators have already standardised on the interface.
