Positron AI
Component · US
Memory-first AI inference hardware (Atlas shipping, Asimov/Titan next-gen) built on commodity LPDDR5X to sidestep HBM/CoWoS constraints; deployed at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Positron designs and manufactures memory-first AI inference hardware. Atlas, its first-generation inference system, is shipping today — deployed at 50+ racks in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and serving models up to 500B parameters. Its next-generation Asimov accelerator (custom silicon on TSMC N3P, 288GB–2.3TB memory per chip) tapes out in late 2026, powering the Titan system (4–8 Asimov chips) built to serve models beyond 16T parameters and 10M-token context. The architecture uses commodity LPDDR5X memory to avoid constrained HBM and CoWoS supply chains, realizing >90% of available memory bandwidth for leading tokens-per-dollar and tokens-per-watt in air- or liquid-cooled data centers.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Memory-first inference architecture on commodity LPDDR5X that sidesteps HBM/CoWoS supply constraints, realizing >90% of available memory bandwidth for leading tokens-per-dollar and tokens-per-watt at hyperscaler scale.
Position in the stack: Designs and sells purpose-built inference accelerators (Atlas shipping, Asimov/Titan next-gen) as a direct NVIDIA challenger in the inference tier of the AI factory; differentiated by a memory-first architecture on commodity memory rather than scarce HBM.
