Parallel Domain
Data & simulation
Turns real drive and flight logs into photoreal simulation replicas plus deterministic camera/lidar/radar simulation with a measured sim-to-real gap.
Parallel Domain sells the data and simulation layer perception teams train and validate against. PD Replica ingests real fleet logs — camera, lidar, GPS, including messy imperfect captures — and reconstructs a near pixel-perfect 3D scene; PD Sim then runs deterministic camera, lidar and radar simulation over it, varying lighting, weather, traffic and agent trajectories on demand. The differentiator is auditability: automated sim-to-real gap reports quantify how closely a replica matches the original scene, which is what safety cases and regulators now ask for. Products are API-first and drop into an existing autonomy stack and CI/CD pipeline, so every mile driven becomes a reusable test asset. Customers are automotive OEMs, AV developers, drone delivery and warehouse robotics perception teams.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Reconstruction fidelity plus a measured sim-to-real gap: anyone can render scenes, but publishing an auditable equivalence report per replica is what makes simulation admissible in a safety case.
Position in the stack: Data and simulation supplier (pa-9): it sits between raw fleet data and the perception model, and the moat is the reconstruction pipeline and the library of validated scenes rather than any single model.
