Omen AI
Bottleneck owner
Inline spectroscopic sensors that continuously monitor data-centre coolant and industrial machine fluids.
Omen AI sells continuous fluid-intelligence hardware and software: the Sentry spectroscopic sensor, a 4U 19-inch rack-mount unit that plumbed in parallel on a cooling loop via 1/2-inch OCP UQD08 quick-disconnects and reports pH, total alkalinity, glycol concentration, conductivity, temperature and pressure over Modbus TCP/IP to the facility BMS - plus portable diagnostic hardware for industrial machinery. The pitch is replacing hand sampling and multi-day lab reports with continuous in-loop measurement, so chemistry drift, dilution and contamination are caught before they attack cold plates, manifolds and fittings. The company says its sensors run in data centres representing $200B of assets and 10-14 GW of capacity, and with industrial fleets including Carolina CAT; TensorWave is a named customer.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Continuous inline coolant chemistry instead of periodic lab samples - turns coolant from an unobserved consumable into an instrumented, fleet-monitored asset.
Position in the stack: Instrumentation layer plumbed into the liquid-cooling loop, where microchannel cold plates make contamination expensive; it sits inside the thermal path and its value compounds as a cross-site dataset of coolant degradation.
Who buys it
Named customers: Carolina CAT, TensorWave
Founding team
Zach Laberge — Founder & CEO — Founded his first company in 2020 at age 14, raising $3M to put sensors on construction equipment and leaving high school early; founded Omen AI in 2024 to build inline fluid-analysis sensors and now leads a company with $41.5M raised.
