Nimble Robotics
Fleet services
Fully autonomous robotic fulfilment: one general warehouse robot body doing every core task, sold as a service.
Nimble operates fully autonomous fulfilment: a network of robotic fulfilment centres plus the AI and software that runs them. Its warehouse superhumanoid - a single general robot platform rather than a fleet of single-task machines - is claimed to perform all core warehouse functions (storage, retrieval, picking, packing, sorting, kitting) so brands need no labour for those steps. Nimble sells fulfilment as a service rather than equipment: customers pay per task with no capex, and the company cites up to 40% delivery-cost savings, same or next-day coverage of more than 96% of the US population on ground, and the ability to flex volume by switching robots on and off. FedEx is both customer and strategic investor.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
One general robot body that does every core warehouse task and is delivered as a service - the economics come from utilisation across tasks, which single-task automation cannot match.
Position in the stack: Sits at the fulfilment operations layer, owning robots, sites and software. Hard to copy because it needs general manipulation plus a multi-node fulfilment network, not a machine sale.
