Software-defined cellular cloud that lets devices roam across public, private 5G and satellite on one subscription.

Monogoto sells software-defined connectivity-as-a-service: an API-driven cellular cloud so IoT and Physical AI devices can use public networks, private LTE/5G and satellite under one subscription and one protocol. The company says it reaches 550 networks in 200+ countries, with automation, granular network-type control (security, QoS, localization, energy) and developer APIs instead of traditional SIM logistics. Target verticals listed include fleet, micromobility, agriculture, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and smart cities. Founded in late 2018 by Itamar Kunik (CEO) and Maor Efrati (CTO). A 15 October 2024 company announcement said it raised a $27 million Series A led by Toyota Ventures, with Samsung Next, Assembly Ventures and Team8 among backers. No named end-customers are listed on the public site.

Evidence boundary

Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.

Programmable hybrid connectivity — public cellular, private 5G and satellite behind one API — so Physical AI fleets are not stuck managing SIMs per country.

Connectivity layer under device OEMs and fleet operators. Defensibility is the multi-network roaming core plus private-5G/satellite stitching, which is closer to a telecom core than to an MVNO SIM shop.
