Perception stack for physical AI: custom silicon, 4D multimodal sensing and spatial software that let robots trust what they see.

Lyte builds the perception layer of physical AI: custom silicon, multimodal sensors and spatial software that robots use to sense position, motion and surroundings. Its platforms, LyteVision and LyteGalaxy, fuse 4D coherent vision, high-resolution imaging and inertial sensing onto a single synchronised timeline at the edge, so robots measure position and motion natively in hardware instead of reconstructing them in software. The company says this removes the latency, calibration drift and untrustworthy data that come from stitching together off-the-shelf components. Sells to robot builders across AMR, robot-arm, humanoid, last-mile delivery, robotaxi and defence programmes, including safety-critical use in shared spaces. Lyte emerged from stealth in January 2026, entered production and was named CES 2026 Best of Innovation in Robotics; it reports shipping to customers in inspection, logistics and manufacturing.

Evidence boundary

Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.

Owns the full perception stack from custom silicon to spatial software, so accuracy is set at the transistor level rather than assembled from parts never designed to work together.

Sits between sensor/silicon supply and every robot OEM: the perception front-end that turns the physical world into data a policy can act on. Copying it means matching silicon, optics, timing and calibration together, not licensing a module.
