Lightwheel sells simulation and data infrastructure for embodied AI. The public stack has three layers: SimReady physically accurate 3D assets and reconstructed factory scenes; EgoSuite first-person human demonstration data converted into training sets; and RoboFinals, a simulation evaluation gauntlet that stress-tests robot policies before deployment. The company also publishes open assets (e.g. Lightwheel-Toilets on Hugging Face) and works with NVIDIA's Isaac/GR00T ecosystem. Its site names customers and collaborators including NVIDIA, Figure AI, Geely, AgiBot, BYD, Alibaba and ByteDance. Lightwheel was founded in 2023 by Steve Xie after simulation roles at Cruise, NVIDIA and NIO, on the thesis that robotics will hit the same data wall autonomous driving did.
