Humatics
Component
Microlocation and shared spatial reference giving robots and autonomous systems ground truth.
Humatics sells spatial positioning systems that give every machine in a work cell the same spatial reference: what an asset is, where it is, how it is moving, and where it sits relative to everything else. Its RF-based microlocation technology and Milo system deliver persistent asset identity, 6DOF position and orientation, and 120 Hz continuously updated motion state in a single shared frame. The company positions the platform across the whole physical-AI lifecycle - simulate and model the work cell, train on structured spatial data, deploy heterogeneous robots and moving assets in production, measure actual versus intended motion, and feed results back into the next iteration. Humatics has raised roughly $80M, including a $30M Series B in 2020 led by Blackhorn Ventures with Airbus Ventures and Lockheed Martin participating.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
RF microlocation that supplies one shared 6DOF spatial reference to every machine in a work cell - ground truth that carries from simulation into real production.
Position in the stack: Positioning and spatial-data layer beneath multi-robot coordination. Defensible because accurate, low-latency shared reference frames are a prerequisite for autonomous coordination and depend on proprietary RF hardware plus calibration know-how.
