Humanoid
Physical AI
UK industrial humanoid robotics company, Europe's first pure-play humanoid unicorn.
Humanoid builds industrial humanoid robots designed to work alongside people on factory shop floors. Its HMND 01 Alpha is a wheeled industrial platform developed by a team of roughly 300 across offices in London, Boston and Vancouver, with leadership drawn from robotics hardware, machine learning, control systems and deployment, including design talent from Arrival. The company says it has signed a binding agreement with German industrial supplier Schaeffler to deploy up to 2,000 robots at Schaeffler plants and to help integrate them into existing lines, with an initial phase running from December 2026 to June 2027. Humanoid raised a $152M Series A at a $1.35B post-money valuation in July 2026, led by Prime Movers Lab with Bosch and Schaeffler participating.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Industrial humanoid hardware backed by a binding multi-thousand-unit deployment agreement with a Tier-1 industrial supplier - commercial proof ahead of most humanoid peers.
Position in the stack: Robot OEM selling directly into industrial end users and integrators. Defensibility rests on a commercially contracted rollout, an in-house 300-person engineering team and automotive-supplier investors who are also deployment partners.
Who buys it
