Genesis AI
Physical AI
Universal robotics foundation model, simulation stack and the Eno general-purpose robot.
Genesis AI is building a universal robotics foundation model and the full-stack platform around it: physics simulation through Genesis World, a synthetic data engine, robot learning, and simulation-to-real validation. The company emerged from stealth in July 2025 with a $105M seed co-led by Eclipse and Khosla Ventures, with Bpifrance, HSG, Eric Schmidt, Xavier Niel, Daniela Rus and Vladlen Koltun named as backers. In 2026 it unveiled Eno, its first general-purpose robot: a compact wheeled platform with human-scale, human-like manipulators, twenty active back-drivable degrees of freedom, that stands to working height and folds to the size of a checked bag. Eno is designed to work in factories, laboratories, hospitals and homes, with production and targeted industrial deployments planned from late 2026.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Simulation-first robotics AI - a synthetic data engine born from an academic project spanning 18 universities, plus the Genesis World simulator - to train a general robotics model without collecting real-world data.
Position in the stack: Model and platform layer above robot hardware, selling the robotics foundation model and simulation stack to robot makers and end users. The moat is the simulation-to-real data pipeline and the academic talent that built it.
Who buys it
Founding team
Zhou Xian — Co-founder and CEO — PhD in robotics from Carnegie Mellon University; led the multi-university project on a robotics synthetic data engine that became Genesis
Theophile Gervet — Co-founder — Former research scientist at the French AI lab Mistral AI
