Daimon Robotics
Component
Shenzhen visuotactile sensor maker pairing DM-Tac hardware with a tactile dataset and the Daimon-TWM world model.
Daimon Robotics builds vision-based tactile sensing and the data and models around it. Its hardware line — DM-Tac W2, X, F and G, plus DM-Flux — are high-resolution visuotactile sensors that image contact through a camera behind a deformable skin, capturing multi-modal contact information at high frequency instead of the single-axis forces conventional tactile sensors report. Around that it runs a data business: Daimon-Infinity and DM-DataMaster collect and process tactile-rich manipulation data, which the company claims is the largest such dataset, and Daimon-TWM is a tactile-grounded world model using touch as the primary modality for physical reasoning and control. Target customers are embodied-AI labs, logistics and manufacturing integrators. Based in Shenzhen and backed by China Mobile's Lianchang Fund.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
High-resolution visuotactile hardware bundled with the dataset and world model trained on it — the data flywheel, not the sensor, is the defensible part.
Position in the stack: Tactile perception and data layer: sensors in the hand generate the contact data that trains the model, and the model is what makes dexterous manipulation generalise, so hardware and data reinforce each other.
