Corintis
Physical AI
EPFL spin-off building microfluidic chip cooling - cold plates that can cut AI-chip temperatures up to 10x.
Corintis designs, builds, tests and mass-produces microfluidic liquid-cooling for high-power chips - targeted cooling that brings liquid directly to the hottest parts of a die. Its cold plates and co-packaged cooling aim for up to 10x better chip cooling than conventional designs, letting data centers and HPC operators run the highest-TDP AI chips at lower temperatures and higher efficiency. Corintis offers a design platform (Glacierware), a thermal-testing product (Therminator(TM)) and a manufacturing path toward roughly 1 million cold plates per year. The Lausanne, Switzerland company is an EPFL spin-off (founded 2021) and announced a cooling breakthrough in collaboration with Microsoft. (Company/press-reported facts.)

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Microfluidic cooling co-designed with the chip - bringing coolant to hot spots for up to 10x better heat removal, addressing the thermal wall that caps AI-chip performance.
Position in the stack: Advanced thermal-component and design-platform supplier between chip designers and data-center operators - the cooling layer that determines how hard AI silicon can run.
