Augmentus
Component
No-code, scan-to-path robot programming software for finishing, spraying and welding across major robot brands.
Augmentus sells no-code robot programming software for high-mix, high-variability manufacturing. An operator scans the actual part in 3D or imports CAD, and the platform generates collision-free robot motion for thermal spray, grit blasting, shot peening, sanding, grinding, dispensing and welding — no teach pendant, no code, no robotics specialist. The Pro tier adds 3D scanning hardware, vision-guided localisation, inline inspection and ML defect detection so paths correct for part-to-part deviation. Output runs across ABB, FANUC, KUKA, Yaskawa, Kawasaki, Universal Robots and Techman. Customers named by the company include Hyundai, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Fujitsu, Applied Materials, ST Engineering and J.Wagner.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Scan-to-path motion generation that is robot-brand agnostic and operator-run — it removes the integrator and the robotics hire from every new part variant.
Position in the stack: Software layer between the robot arm and the process: it sits on top of any OEM's controller, so it scales across the installed base instead of competing with it.
