Arris Composites
Component
Additive Molding platform producing consolidated continuous-fibre carbon composite parts at moulding cycle times.
Arris Composites makes structural carbon-fibre parts by Additive Molding — a patented combination of design software, aligned-fibre materials and high-volume compression moulding that produces continuous-fibre thermoplastic parts at moulding cycle times. The value proposition is part consolidation: a drone arm and motor mount moulded as one piece, 18 prop-guard pieces consolidated per side, and an airframe consolidated 17-to-1 for Skydio's X2 at half the weight of aluminium and five times its strength, held to ±0.1 mm as-moulded tolerance. Arris also runs Cross Scale long-fibre injection moulding. Production sits in the US, Taiwan and Malaysia, serving drones and defence, consumer electronics, footwear and cycling.

Evidence boundary
Original analysis and independent corroboration remain under development. Commercial scale and durable technical advantage remain under review.
What makes it defensible
Patented fibre-alignment plus compression moulding that consolidates 17–18 metal or laminate parts into one at high volume — the tooling and process, not just the material.
Position in the stack: Structural-parts supplier to drone, defence, consumer and mobility OEMs, sitting where a machined-metal or hand-laid laminate supply chain would otherwise be, with the tolerance and cycle time that supply chain cannot reach.
Who buys it
Named customers: Skydio, Brooks Running, Northrop Grumman, U.S. Army DEVCOM GVSC
