iShares Expanded Tech-Software Sector ETF (IGV) is a passively managed fund issued by iShares, the ETF franchise of BlackRock. It tracks the S&P North American Expanded Technology Software Index, a benchmark of North American software companies plus select interactive media and services firms. IGV is the broad Digital Trust software lens: its mapped positions include Palo Alto Networks, Palantir, CrowdStrike, Microsoft, and ServiceNow — the application, platform, and security-software names that institutions depend on. In the PXS map, IGV captures the software-infrastructure layer of the Digital Trust universe, complementing CIBR's dedicated security tilt with the broader applications and operating systems beneath it. Coverage is limited to direct, issuer-reported positions in already-mapped companies, not the complete portfolio, and this is a research map rather than a recommendation. IGV is most useful for seeing where a broad North American software index concentrates across the mapped Digital Trust companies, separating the platform and application names from the pure-play security names. Its largest mapped positions are Palo Alto Networks (9.62%), Palantir (9.50%), CrowdStrike (8.70%), and Oracle (6.74%), concentrating the fund in the mapped Digital Trust software and platform leaders.
