What makes it defensible
Full-stack, GNSS-denied autonomy — visual PNT/SLAM, online map generation, distributed multi-asset mapping — that retrofits onto a prime's existing air or ground platform instead of requiring a new vehicle.
Position in the stack: Autonomy software supplier sitting between the prime contractor's base platform and the mission system; Swan's stated ideal engagement is a prime with a platform that needs more autonomy. Hard to copy because GPS/comms-denied navigation plus holistic verification & validation is bought and qualified rather than built in-house by primes.
